Where community is grown, kindness is freely given, and help is freely offered as we work together to make our futures brighter for everyone. Our coalition focuses on policy-driven results, not political division. Parties have proven incredibly detrimental to civility and compromise in both Montpelier and DC. At this time, as a matter of necessity, some coalition candidates do associate with a party.
“However (political parties), may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion.” ~ George Washington
But ideas are more powerful than armies. The labels don’t matter anymore. We are embarked, regardless of political affiliation, to restore our autonomy with Vermonters land and money, while restoring fiscal transparency and innovative financial solutions capable of providing the safety net much needed by untold Vermonters.
We are Vermonters. Left. Right. Black. White. And We, the People, are tired of policy platitudes that fall flat and enrich politicians who are so incompetent and corrupt we cannot afford to live the way our families have in the past. Vermonters are facing increasing costs that have exacerbated our current financial concerns. If housing isn’t affordable, it leads to a spiral in terms of society as a whole. Secured housing leads to Vermonters achieving their goals in life; personally, professionally, and financially. It is the cornerstone allowing us to move forward on healthcare and education.
